Yes you can! We currently offer a  dimmers for our Plug-in Festoon string lights. You will have the opportunity to claim a dimmer at check-out as a FREE gift when you purchase the Plug-in version of our lights. 
*Please note: One dimmable extension cord will be able to accomdate up to 120m of Plug-in String Lights. (Not the maximum capacity of 520m)

✨ Solar Option: You are able to connect up to 30m.

Litehouse bulbs are LED & Low Wattage, therefore little to no heat is generated whether you purchase Plug-in or Solar string lights.

All bulb sockets are located 1m apart from one another whether you purchase Plug-in or Solar String Lights. They are secured at one point and therefore fixed in place and not movable.

At Litehouse we do sell a 30-piece Set-Up Kit for those installing long sets of string lights. You will have the opportunity to add the set-up kit at check-out subject to availability.

Alternatively, you are able to purchase string, cable ties & common hooks from your local hardware store for easy installation accessories suited to your set-up needs. If you would like any advice regarding set-up please get intouch with us!

The lights can be used both indoors and outdoors depending on your DIY lighting needs. However, we have designed the lights to be IP65 Weatherproof rating meaning they are well suited for outdoor use & can withstand the test of time.

Solar bulbs cannot be used in a Plug-In string, as the voltage is too low on the bulb (5V) and too high from the string (220-240V). This will cause the bulb to become defective. 

No, you cannot interconnect the solar and plug-in string lights together. This is because you cannot connect lights with two different voltages together. Conntecting them would cause bulbs on the low voltage solar string lights to blow and become defective.

Our Solar Panels have a high efficiency rating therefore they do manage to store some charge, even on bad weather days. However, if you are hosting a dinner and concerned about the lights not being charged enough to last the full evening we have installed a charging port in the solar panel. Therefore you have two ways to charge solar panel fully: 

1. Direct Sunlight (6-8 Hours) 
2. Charging Port (4 Hours)

Yes, all our Festoon String Lights have been designed with the feature of replaceable bulbs. This means if one bulb no longer works you do not have to replace your entire set of string lights but rather replace the bulb that does not work. Every set comes with 2 Spare Bulbs!

Our bulbs are also all shatterproof! This allows you to set up your string lights safely around your children and around the garden, pool and patio areas! If you drop a bulb while setting up - no problem! 

Wattage indicates energy consumption and therefore energy saving lighting requires low wattage lights.  Energy-saving bulbs (like LEDs) use significantly lower wattage than traditional incandescent bulbs while providing the same lumen output. Warmer temperature bulbs also tend to be more energy efficient. 

All Litehouse lights use low wattage, LED bulbs that emit a warm-white glow (2700K)! You can enjoy energy saving LED lights and create a beautiful atmosphere in confidence with Litehouse Festoon String Lights!
